The international agreements listed in the IBT are grouped in the following way:
Bilateral agreements - Register and texts of international agreements binding on Poland (binding); agreements not yet binding, but being applied by Poland (provisionally applied); agreements signed by Poland and subject to ongoing national treaty procedures before they become binding (signed).
Multilateral agreements - Register and texts of international agreements binding on Poland (binding); agreements not yet binding but being implemented by Poland (provisionally applied); agreements subject to ongoing national treaty procedures before they become binding (not yet binding on Poland)
Depository of the Republic of Poland - Register and texts of international multilateral agreements of which the Republic of Poland is the depository, with lists of the States-Parties to these agreements and the texts of any declarations, reservations and objections.
Archive of bilateral agreements - Register and texts of expired international agreements.
Archive of multilateral agreements - Register and texts of international agreements no longer binding on Poland (this section includes both agreements that have expired and those to which Poland is no longer a party).
The texts of bilateral agreements are available in all the languages in which the agreements were prepared, while the texts of multilateral agreements are in Polish, English and French. In the case of agreements published in the Journal of Laws or the Polish Monitor, the ITB contains the texts published therein. The texts of multilateral agreements are appended with government statements containing information as of the date of the statement. Additionally, the texts of ratified international agreements published in the Journal of Laws are supplemented with the texts of ratification documents.
A listing of nonbinding agreements concluded with the former USSR, Czechoslovakia, GDR and Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia is available in the archive of bilateral agreements. Agreements concluded with the above-mentioned states binding on the successor states are available in the section on bilateral agreements under the name of the successor-state.
