Ladies and Gentlemen
The Internet Treaty Base of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (hereinafter referred to as IBT) contains lists and texts of international agreements to which the Republic of Poland is or was a party, both in force and expired.
Please have in mind that IBT does not contain all agreements to which the Republic of Poland is or was a party - IBT contains only agreements which:
- were subject to the treaty legal proceeding in accordance with the Polish internal law and were published in the official journal of law,
- were subject to the treaty legal proceeding in accordance with the Polish internal law and have not been published in the official journal of law, or
- have not been subject to the treaty legal proceeding in accordance with the Polish internal law, but were published in the official journal of law,
- are executive agreements or agreements that amend the agreements indicated in points 1 to 3.
ITB concludes international agreements by which the Republic of Poland has been bound from 1918 or was bound after 1918.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs that IBT shall be considered only as the source of information which does not constitute the promulgation of the agreements in the official journal of law, in accordance with the Act of April 14, 2000 on international agreements (Journal of Laws of 2020, item 127).
